As many of you know Special Olympics is a big part of our lives. Drake has attended the Illinois State Special Olympic Games for 3 years and has met some wonderful new friends along the way. There are two girls that Drake talks about the most, “the girl cops”. The girl cops are from Bartlett, Illinois and are a Tammy, police officer and Carol, an office manager of the Bartlett Police Department. They are both active in the Special Olympics Torch Run, the largest supporter of Special Olympics Illinois. They visited Drake at his school and barn before he left for Stanford, CA. They surprised Drake during his lunch hour and then took a tour of his school. Some of Drake’s classmates joined in on the fun and had to show off some of their talents!
